Rhonda Harrell is a Cleveland native who knows first hand what awesome impact music can make in a young persons life. After graduating from the Cleveland School of the Arts, this Cleveland Music School Settlement and Rainey Institute alum attended Howard University in Washington DC.   Rhonda majored in psychology and minored in music. She found herself, once again, involved in the arts; this time on a teaching level. She began giving private voice lessons to local Washington D.C. youth as well as directing musical productions for area church youth groups. After matriculating at Howard, she returned to Cleveland and began teaching music in the Cleveland Municipal School District. In 2007, Rhonda received a Masters of Education degree from Cleveland State University and continues to use her knowledge of early childhood/adolescent development to help excite youth as well as adults in the study of voice and other arts disciplines. All students will greatly benefit from sessions that allow them to explore a tailor- made arts experience that lets them enjoy the true essence of their unique gifts.

In the Fall of 2012, Rhonda's personal education project, DORHNA Services was born. The MUSIC Place studio was opened in October as the arts education division of that project. Miss Harrell seeks to use basic tutoring and music lessons to give individuals an opportunity to SHINE!
